Welcome to Treetops Cottage
We do not run a hotel; instead we offer you a home with a quiet and peaceful environment. We are located at a beautiful village known as Naggar, which is exactly half way between Kullu and Manali (approx 20 kms / 30 minutes drive). For making your stay comfortable we have some house rules. Please ensure you read and fully understand the house rules.
House Rules
- Playing loud music, making noise and shouting is strictly not allowed.
- Check-in time is 1:00 P.M and check-out time is 11:00 A.M. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable. No early check in or late checkout can be done without prior consent of the owner.
- Pets are not allowed.
- The number of guests cannot exceed the count mentioned & agreed upon at the time of booking.
- We have parking facility in the premises but it’s entirely at the owner’s risk. Only cars and SUVs can be parked here (We do not have parking for bigger vehicles like tempo travelers).
- We don’t have accommodation facility for drivers. however food can be provided at nominal charges. There is a common washroom for staff which drivers can use.
- A valid photo ID is mandatory for each and every individual guest upon arrival.
- Smoking is only allowed outdoors – in gardens, balconies and verandahs.
- Freshly prepared vegetarian and non vegetarian meals from our kitchen are provided on order. The request should be made at least an hour in advance. We are unable to provide any service after 10:00 PM. We request you to place all orders before 9:00 PM. The kitchen opens at 7:00 AM.
- We do not have air conditioning systems in our cottages and rooms; however the fans are installed in rooms as well as in living rooms. For heating in winters we have bed warmers however electric room heaters can also be provided on request at an extra cost. The guests are advised to use the heaters until they are awake and switch off the electric heaters and bed warmers before going to sleep for safety purposes.
- Bonfire and barbeque can be provided on request in the garden area till 10:00 PM only and both facilities are chargeable. In case of snow & rain, we will not be able to provide these services.
- Any illegal activity, including the use of narcotics and prostitution etc. is strictly prohibited.
- Washing of clothes inside the cottages/ bathrooms is not allowed. We do have in-house laundry service available on a chargeable basis.
- Housekeeping service will be provided once a day only.
- Linens will be changed on alternative days.
- Though power cuts are rare, but in times of a power cut, the generator will only run during night hours up to 11:00 PM & in the morning from 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
- Any breakage or damage by the guests of any items in the house/premises will be charged at actual cost basis.
- In the event of any loss or theft or damage, the management shall not be held responsible for the same and the guests shall have no claim whatsoever against the management.
- Guests are expected to maintain decorum during their stay as every other in-house guest needs their privacy & wishes to enjoy.
- Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care. It is our utmost priority to maintain the cottages properly. The guests are requested to immediately notify the owner for any maintenance problem (if any), so that the situation can be resolved on priority basis.
Policies
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Booking can be only confirmed by making 50% advance payment of the stay duration, against Bank transfer/ cash deposit. Kindly check the availability with us before making any advance payment.
CANCELLATION & RETENTION CHARGE POLICY
Check In: Check in time is anytime after 01:00 PM on the day of the Guests reservation begins. No early check in without prior consent of owner.
Check Out: Check out time is 11:00 AM on the day of Guest’s reservation ends. Any delay in checkout, without prior consent of owner is not permitted.
- Cancellations are not accepted over the phone call. All cancellations must be made in writing.
- If the request for cancellation is received 30 days or more in advance before the scheduled date of arrival, 80% of the advance taken will be refunded.
- If the request for cancellation is received between 15 to 29 days, 50% of advance taken will be refunded.
- No refund will be given, if the cancellation request is received less than 15 days before the date of arrival.
- Reducing the length of stay on arrival will attract penalty charges for full length stay.
- Cancellation upon Arrival/ No-show/ Early Departure/ Change of Dates/ Partial Cancellation will be treated as Cancellation and 100% amount of stay would be charged.
